I really wanted to draw out the character’s faces again, and just get an idea of where I’m going.  Looking at them now, they are far better than when I started this little story, but frankly I need to start doing some changes.  Also playing with ideas on how the style should look for the final comic when I start getting to it.

Anyway, Sorry for lack of updating, again… I really aught to just sketch something then post it to fill up the lack of updates that I owe everyone…  If anyone want’s to comment, what they like or don’t like, please….

Seriously, begging for input actually.  Like…Does anyone else feel that Allen’s hair is going to far?

OH, and Merry Christmas!

Ok let me explain.  I’ve had trouble this entire semester, feeling unispired in general and unable to work on anything.  Finaly out of the semester, and I start to pick it backup, feeling better in general but still every time I sit down to this next comic I’m stopped.  I stall.  I even tried different angles.  I know where I want KoT to go, I see the path, but not the rocks that make me stumble.  I look back at the path I’ve traveled, and I gasp in pain.

This should be a sin.

So much debate with myself and around others… I’m restarting KoT.  The general scope and concept will remain the same, but everything, the writing, the art, the story, the characters, the site, everything will be tweeked.  KoT thus far has been one grand experiment on how things could be or have been done.  Frankly, some were successful, some were not.  I have learned much and will continue to learn.  So for now, KoT is on hiatus as I recapture my idea, refine it, tool it, design it, and ultimately release it to the masses.  I will post here when I can with updates (Like a redesigned site) and as soon as I have my characters, my story, my scenes and my ideas set, You will see Allen walk through time. See Michi kick the shit out of him… and it will look NOTHING like THIS ABOMINATION!

Please. I’m sorry for being away for so long, but this is for the best. I will fix things.

Due to much delay (SORRY) it’s finally back up… hopefully I’ll keep to a weekly update schedule this time….

School has really been bogging me down, but if I get one assignment done, my schedule should open up for doing the comic/commissions again. (An assignment that is ironically a comic as well, so yes, expect it to be posted here when complete…) Once that’s done, I’m finishing up commissions and hopefully posting concept images here till i can get back into a comic groove…. Sorry for the delays!!

To put to point, if anyone here can spare help please… I promise to make it up to every single person that donates, in either wallpapers, drawings, or hell getting KoT back in order…

Now after completing the more detailed sketch, I closed (and for sake of space removed) the construction lines giving me a much cleaner sketch to work from.   I then flipped the image to get a new look at it for finding any errors, which I did.   For the reader’s sake, I kept them highlighted in red to see what I did change.

Now that I’m happy with my sketch, I started a new layer and began to add the lineart.

I’m still playing around with things, finding ways to increase my work flow.  I kinda like how the lighting came off.

After I get the general sketch of what I want, I lower the opacity of the layer and start a new one on top with a darker brush.  Here i sketch over and add details that will go into the final peice.  I’m still working loosely however so it isn’t 100% on final details, but it is easier to draw the final line-art without all the extra construction lines.

I still have quite a bit to draw out on this layer, but I wanted to show how it would look anyway.
